Teenagers need to feel a part of the world around them, and to be able to communicate with peers, classmates, and boyfriends or girlfriends as part of their normal social routine. When they are hospitalized, this social circle is interrupted. That's why at CMC - NorthEast, we attempt to help them connect with friends and their usual activities, such as web surfing, to bring a semblance of normalcy to their everyday lives. When teens can talk to their friends, they are happier, and this translates into healthier. And as parents know, living with a teen is just like the road to recovery -- Attitude Is Everything!

The Teen Internet Café will be open for hospitalized patients only (please, no parents or siblings) during regular hours. Child protection software is installed on these computers to restrict access to certain web sites and to protect children from unsafe online activity. A staff member will be supervising this area Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. However, it is ultimately the responsibility of the parent to supervise your child and their online activities during all hours of operation. CMC - NorthEast is in no way liable or responsible for their actions online or any consequences thereof.

Hours of operation: 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., 7 days per week.
